What is it with wearing pants that are such a pain the neck to wear?
I'm talking about leggings, about constant issues with not only the undergarment but the more personal parts of the wearer's anatomy being so inadequately concealed and to violate the wearer's sense of modesty. ... Why not just wear more modest pants and stop worrying about panty lines, camel's feet, etc? Are you willing to put up with the negatives for the sake of being in style? Do you get used to the idea of strangers having what is more or less a clear view of you perianal area, vaginal area, and public triangle? ... I know ideas of modesty change, like in 2021 you can show a lot more butt on the beach than you could in 1971. But showing your thinly covered crotch? This is really OK?

I know right! Why not dress like a decent person? I do wear leggings sometimes and only with long tops that properly cover my butt and front. Not sure why disgusting losers want to dress indecently and then act like it's not wrong and go buy this abnormal looking thing called a 'thong'.

I'm a male but can relate on one level-the other day I went to work out and put on sweat pants that were very form fitting. Throughout the workout and on errands afterwards, I was self-conscious, pulling down my sweatshirt and even apologetic.
This only encoraged one thing-attention to the area that was making me self-conscious.
Two takeaways-first, if something we are wearing makes us uncomfortable, don't wear it again. Second, as a male who enjoys being around women but doesn't appreciate the distraction of reavealing clothing when I am trying to speak with someone, dress appropriately for the occasion. I don't wear spandex at work (or at the beach for that matter) but as a society we need to keep working on getting past the expectation that women are always supposed to be alluring and focus more on their inner strenghts & abilities to truly achieve equality & justice.
I know, I know...see, I'm an old happily married man so it's not like I am date bait or anything; helps when I'm trying to see the other sides of things and sound enlightened.
