Why are you paying tithings when the bible clearly say tithes are to go to the levitical priest and it was to be live stock and crops?

Paying tithes was taxes to support the levitical priests.  But we no longer need them.  After Jesus we can go to our father in heaven and pray directedly to him.  So the tithes is out dated.  Only a scam by false religion to make money.

In an agricultural society 'tithes' would be livestock and crops.

Most people don't live in agricultural societies today.

Jesus Christ was the most generous man to walk this earth. His example has inspired many to act generously. “Practice giving,” he said, “and people will give to you. They will pour into your laps a fine measure, pressed down, shaken together and overflowing. For with the measure that you are measuring out, they will measure out to you in return.” (Luke 6:38)

Christian giving is voluntary. It takes into account that each individual has different circumstances in life. “If the readiness is there first,” the Bible says, “it is especially acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what a person does not have.”—2 Corinthians 8:12.

Tithing was a provision of the Mosaic Law covenant to support Israel’s temple and priesthood. For Christians today, it is neither commanded nor necessary.

I've never paid a tithe in my entire life.  I have done free will offerings, which 2 Corinthians 9:7 talks about.  But tithing is law, and the law was only for Israel and only during that time.  I'm under grace.

Actually tithing is currently preached as part of "God's law" by mega churches such as Hillsong and C3. I've actually heard the phrase uttered "don't tithe and god won't bless you". Seems a money making scam to me but hey ho...

No one does except the Mormons.
