Are Trumplicans the best evidence that education needs to be revamped in the United States?

i think the problem i see in america is not solely the education system, but our culture that doesn't emphasis enough on critical thinking skills. our culture still has a strong puritanical influence and we think the bible is the sole authority of our morality.  we are also a culture that values this false sense of rugged individualism where we value guns and sports over science and logic.

remember, america has the top universities in the world, we also spend a lot on education relative to many other developed countries, 

so we have the resources and some of the brightest minds in the world, we just need to make adjustments in our culture put away this obsession with rugged individualism and religion in favor of more academic interests

We need to follow socialist countries:   Drastically cut those who can go to college, give them little choice in where they can go to college and dictate their college major.  That is far more efficient than the American way.

Same can't be said with the 16 year old 8th grade drop outs or the 12th grade graduates that vote Liberal with a grade 8 education!

Masur, professor of American studies and history at Rutgers University: "I once spoke with a vice president at Goldman Sachs who asked me about American studies. I told him it was the interdisciplinary study of American culture with an emphasis on critical reading, writing, and thinking. He said he longed for more job applicants with that set of skills because they can always learn economics, but not how to think."  Hope that clears things up for ya.

Are you saying being a Math Major doesn't teach you how to think? Or being a Physician, or Research in Science, or a Nurse, or an Engineer? Most kids today get these dumb degrees in Liberal Arts and have not one ounce of Critical Thinking. 

If you're not majoring in STEM, why go to college. 

It's everywhere. We can't do anything about the climate crisis and we're lame against covid.

No the liberals fixed it and fixed it until it is beyond broken.
