Is there a chip that works both as a Qi receiver and a power regulator for charging batteries?
I am working on a little project and I need a very compact (as small as possible) receiver to charge lithium-ion batteries. It doesn't seem like too much to ask for, but I just can't find one anywhere.

Yes, eg. a Texas Instruments BQ51051B
That is a tiny combined QI receiver and lithium charge controller IC.
However, a QI receiver needs a coupling coil connected to the control IC; that cannot be small.
An example is a Molex 146179-8021 (RS Components part number 124-5145).
The QI system is basically a transformer with the two coils in different items rather than the same casing, plus extra control and feedback circuits.
The coils have to be big enough to couple the required amount of power through, so the overall receiver system cannot be small - though a typical coil is near paper-thin, so can easily be hidden inside a device casing.

Not likely a chip.
Maybe you could program a PIC or similar microcomputer to do it.
