Why are they blaming President Trump for dividing the country when it's the Media that actually divided the country?
Media thrives on dissent. People who are scared or confused turn to the media to find out what is happening. The issue is that as news has become more and more 24-hour and monetized, people have become more selective in their news sources. People turn to news sources that put a spin they want to hear on their news. That results in news sources becoming more and more left or right of center to pander to their customers.
And it's not helping much when almost all the news networks are throwing dirt at President Trump.

Most of the media has become nothing more than a propaganda machine. Eventually they will fade away because they are worse than worthless.

The news networks aren't the main source of news.
The country is divided by the news sources, but not the networks or the newspapers. It's the Internet, the websites, Twitter, Facebook, reddit, etc.

Yes media probably should take most the blame but the problem is that Trump isn’t innocent either. Trump is a guy who thrives off koas and division and often times where there isn’t koas, he creates it.
I don’t quite understand how he does it yet but somehow trump manages to bring out the worst in both his supporters and his rivals. One need only take a look at the warring Right and left wing militias Outside Portland to see this.
Name a divisive issue and you’ll see trump going all in on the side of his base and only his base. That’s the problem, he doesn’t even attempt to represent anyone who isn’t of Republican ideology and he’s supposed to be president of us all
