Has anyone received an email claiming to be from Yahoo today saying that you need to confirm you password?

It looked shady since I never signed up for the service that they claimed I did. Watch out for this latest scam.

Update:

Hi Matt.   I see that you are still as stupid as you are butt hurt about being called out for your constant lies.

THOUSANDS do, every day..... Scammers trawl  addresses harvested by various methods. The first thing to notice is that they don't/can't address you by name.

Maybe they don’t want lifeless losers like you. You don’t even wash in between your cheeks in the shower so get a life hon.

I get lots of those from various companies, usually written in fractured English.

Only insane people and drug abusers post such questions like yours. Sane people use an email or spam filter instead of wasting time here.

Scam messages that request you to provide the password to your email account must be ignored and deleted immediately. Never click on the attachment in the message of you'll risk unleashing malware on your computer or mobile device. Remember Yahoo would never send you unsolicited emails asking for your personal information.

I agree with the other anonymous answer (so I guess I'm Mr. Right too) hopefully the next scam will fool you enough, so we can ALL have a party and celebrate the fact that you are finally hacked & unable to recover your toxic account.

It would've been great if you fell for it and they hacked your account. One less loser on this website.

I got something like this a while ago in my spam, I just blocked the source of it so I wouldn’t get something like that again :)

That is a phishing scam. Ignore and delete it. This is how to identify legitimate Yahoo websites, requests, and communications: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN2091.html
