Is Yahoo answers having technical difficulties right NOW?

Yes, the things you mention are "technical" issues. Not being able to see your own YA activity is something you can't do anything about. However, you can minimize the annoyance of the notification emails. You can set a rule in your email (depending on which email client you use) to send those emails straight to the trash or some other specific folder, so you don't get them in your inbox. Of course, it will also send any BA notifications to the designated folder as well.

It's been having technical difficulties since the dawn of it's time... the idea is to not dwell over it, just work around it. In 2016/2017 this site was at it's worst & was almost unusable... you had to refresh the pages over and over, your F5 key got some abuse in those days. I'm just thankful that those days are over.

One problem I am seeing a LOT recently is that the answer refuses to maintain the paragraph separation that I typed. Even leaving four blank lines doesn't work.

When has this site not had technical difficulties?

They been Having Problems for Years now and its getting Worse by the Day

short answer is  Yes. 

No one can see their own answers list, for some odd reason....

and I have stopped getting BEST answer notifications. 

however,  regarding the "someone also answered problem".......

My experience has been, that it's not a matter of changing your preferences on your profile..........but there's a message that occasionally pops up , after you answer a question, that sez "Please email when someone else answers this question" (or something to that effect)

You have to click on THAT when you see it to stop these damn notifications.

The trouble is.....it only pops up once in a blue moon, and you have to catch it , when it does------because then it won't appear again , for god knows how long.

Right now, I have 800 of them in my in box.......and I can't get rid of them.

I click to delete, and it only delete's ONE at a time.......not ALL of them!!!

I had over 900 of them, before I finally saw the message again, and thank GOD was able to turn the damn thing off.

but now I still have over 800 of them, which I have to delete 1 by 1.

Look for the message after you answer each question......

Yes. No one can see the questions they have answered in their YA activity profiles. The odd thing about the about the Someone else has answered the same question emails is I haven't seen one of those in 5 DAYS. I don't remember what I did other than UNchecking one box underneath ONE question I answered. 

Verizon has FIXED the not being able to see the questions you answered in your activity profile glitch. Someone is awake somewhere.

Join the club. Follow the links in any of those emails and let YA know about it. Maybe YOUR complaint will get to someone who can fix the problem.
