Why do people who are suffering from mental issues think that the phrase "get help" means to talk about an imaginary god?

I make it a point to always tell the person to seek professional help.

Some here have described severe mental health issues.

When I see a religiturd blaming the victim, because he didn't read the bible or other such nonsense, I want to throat punch them.

These uneducated religiturds could very easily have caused mentally ill people to take their own lives, because of the religiturd's lack of empathy and education.

These people are the scum of the earth.

Religion is the last think a person suffering with mental illness needs.

You know, I kind of wonder the same thing. I've noticed on here when someone talks about their mental health, so many people are quick to tell them to turn to god. And god will guide them out of misery and out of their issues and guide them to being right in their mind.

Like no, some conditions literally require chemical altering medications. Some conditions require sedatives to ensure they are safe to themselves and everyone else. Some require mood altering and mind altering medication. This is not something an invisible being in the sky who may or may not exist can fix. It's biological, not spiritual.

while there are vain imaginations of God, and many gods that are fake, or literally are fallen angels, there is a REAL God and there is a REAL Jesus. both are resurrected and exalted persons having life individually and separately from each other.

Yes seek help from a Dr. and also one can get help from the men of God as well as what if the mental illness is demon possession. Jesus cast a demon from the boy that was suicidal having tried many ways to kill himself. JBY
