Measures of beams underneath metal roof tiles?

Hi Community,

is there anyone with experience or even expertise

about the measures of the framework underneath metal tiles?

Metal tiles are extremely lighter than roof tiles

(metal: 6kg per square meter vs.

terracotta tiles: ~33 kg per square meter)?

Would beams 14cm by 12cm do for metal tiles?

    Most homes where I live are built with 2x4 roof trusses on 24" span. Roof covering is usually independent of roof structure.

    I don't have much experience but I do know:

    depends on the span

    depends on snow load on the roof

    depends on local ordinances and building codes.
