Why can't I see answers to my questions??

This is not the first time this has happened, but it's the most frustrating because I really want to award a Best Answer! I get a notification in my notification list that there is an answer. Fortunately I can see the whole answer there and WOOHOO someone solved my problem. But when I go to the question, it shows no answers.

I had this happen on another question not long ago and it showed one or two answers and not the other two. What the heck is up?

Update:

Jules: going to the notification center doesn't help. I already said I could see the answers there. But I can't comment on them or give the best answer. I only see YOUR answer there, not here.

    There is a problem with answers added from some mobiles where they do not show. The only way to fix it is for the poster of the answer to edit it and then it will show. There is nothing you can do.

    There are a few reasons an answer might show in Notifications but not the question:

    1. The user deleted the answer before you saw it in the question

    2. The answer was reported and removed before you saw it in the question

    3. The answer is hung in the spam filter and only shows up for the user who posted it. It needs to be edited to get it to show up for others, but if the OP doesn't realize no one else can see it, they don't know to inquire about the issue and find out what to do to get it through the filter.

    If you see Answers in Notifications but not the Question its Due to the Answer got Reported and Deleted after the Notification for it was Sent out Yahoo does not update there Notification when Someones Answer gets Removed

    Its annoying yes but not much you can do

    Is your mobile device in desktop mode. That's the first thing to check. O e way to get the answer out of the spam free is to move the question to a different category and then move it back.

    Desktop view is very different from desktop mode
