I think it's way too early to say if it's one of the biggest moments in the history of golf , but I do think that there is a good chance that it will be viewed that way 10 or 20 years from now, for a couple of reasons. One is that it's such a large gap in years between winning majors. The second reason is because Tiger Woods did it and also some segments of the media ( ESPN & Yahoo in particular) treat him like they treat no other athlete.

I agree with Webb 100%, and it is a top ten moment. Gary Player is the only other golfer to win a Major with such a huge gap in years and then there is the surgeries.

No. What make great moments is that they last and hold up over time. So we don't have the perspective of time. The better question will be this- in 20 years, where does this stand compared to other majors and other events?
