No. I would want to teach my son to overcome conflict with intellect and an intellectual child would realize that having a scuffle without first learning how to fight and technically against the law thus is a really bad idea.

NO. If my six year old wants to get into a fight, I am not going to encourage that behavior. I would find out the details of why he wants to fight and then work out a more feasible solution. I'd involve the other kids parents as well if its a bullying issue. There's no way two six year olds should be physically fighting for any reason.
