How did you feel if you got into a fight and a teacher intervened? Being glad to get off easy or feeling bad to cannot bring it to an end?

Many decades ago, I was attacked in the school playground at lunchtime. I finished up pinning the bully to the ground, but he wouldn't agree to stop attacking me so I wouldn't get off even though it was time to go in to lunch. Eventually a teacher found us and we were made to stand against the wall in the dining room. He blubbed and got sent for his lunch. I still feel aggrieved.
