What amplifier equipment do you recommend for receiving broadcast TV signals?

What I currently have is a TV that can tune digital TV signals, and an outdoor antenna on a 60 foot tower. The problem is, where I live the broadcast signals are so weak I can get exactly 1 channel at best even with that antenna tower, and even that channel is spotty. What would you recommend in the way of a powered amplifier to boost what signals the antenna can receive so there's plenty of signal for the TV to tune in?

If it matters, I'm in the US when it comes to electrical ratings and broadcast frequencies.

Amplifiers don't do much for broadcast television. They are mostly for amplifying weak cable signals.  If you already have a decent broadcast signal, it could improve that signal some but it won't pick up stations they you can't pick up without an amplifier. You need a signal to amplify.

Sometimes if you rotate your antenna you can pick up a signal from other stations. I have a big antenna like yours, and if I turn it slightly, I can pick up more stations.  That's why there are antennas that have remote rotate motors built in.

Knowing what the antenna is might help,

but if the distance to the nearest station's antenna is 60 miles or more,

you're probably asking for more than you can easily get.

The first thing I would do is install a set of four identical antennas,

properly co-phased (if the phase on any of them isn't right, it will work against success).

You will most likely need professional help with this.

A co-phased array would provide about 6dB of gain

(over a single antenna of the same design) without amplification,

which should, if the signals are intact at your location,

    produce a considerable improvement.

Only after that proved effective would I consider adding amplification if it was needed.

Pre-amps and amps or boosters should be available at

usually. an amplifier increases noise ....we use amplifier for overcoming the transmission cable attenuation ..

you should use two or four similar antennas for increasing the mother signal. so you should ask an antenna installer to do it .... i think you cannot combine them ...needed measuring instrument ... mixers ...making the inputs in-phase and some experience ..

    any question?

Sony are the best or even Samsung.
