"Just do as you're told then"

Tell them the truth. Give it to them raw. Giv'em a two philosophy special deal. Do it way ahead of time so they'll know what it is if it ever arrives and Grandpa mistook that cork pop for a corn chip and choked the death on it when the kids just so happens to find him with his eye glasses sunken in the ranch dip. Tell'em about the birds and the bees, then hit them with where kids come from. Then tell'em they grow up and one day they'll die. Do it through a children's story book. Or just let them watch a lot of Disney movies (*cough cough BAMBI cough cough*) (ah,...aaaah,...ACHOO-MUFASA-!!!!),....oh,....what was I saying? Excuse me,...4got-wutt-EYE-wuz-SaYiN-there,....
Or don't say nuthin' and just pop in alot of Disney movies and let them watch it from the beginning of its genesis. They'll figure it out.
What kind of humans are you....didn't you used to watch Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry? Dragon Ball Z? What happened to your nursery rhymes and fairy tales that you came across when you were kids? Did you lose it like you lost your Toy Story toys? Anyone remember Peter and the Wolf? Three Little Pigs? Chicken Little? Little Red Riding Hood? Goldy Locks? Where you been? News stays on 24/7. What world does everybody live in? Death is just as common as life. Everyday somebody dies, and everyday someone is born. Put in the Lion King and remember the circle of life. You people stuck in the working world too much,...you forgot what its like to be a kid.

The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord.

Take advantage of opportunities to talk about death. If your child sees a dead bird on the side of the road or if a beloved pet dies, use simple questions to encourage him to talk. For example, you could ask: “Does a dead animal suffer? Is it cold or hungry? How do you know that an animal or a person is dead?”—Bible principle: Ecclesiastes 3:1, 7.
Do not hide the truth. When an acquaintance or a relative has died, avoid using confusing euphemisms such as “He has gone away.” Your child might wrongly conclude that the deceased will soon return home. Instead, use simple and direct words. For example, you might say: “When Grandma died, her body stopped working. We can’t talk to her, but we will never forget her.”—Bible principle: Ephesians 4:25.

"Yes kid, everybody will eventually die one day. Just some sooner than others."
