Could you ever go vegan?
I think I could. The hardest part would be planning meals that don't feature meat, fish, dairy, or eggs but there are plenty of other options available. Truth be told I've always felt conflicted about eating certain animals such as pigs who are really very smart. Also the conditions some animals are kept in, for example chickens, are really pretty terrible. I've mostly just kept these facts out of my mind when eating but the day may come when I can't ignore it anymore.

It sounds like you're already half-way there. :)
I never thought I could. I come from a meat-loving family, and grew up eating animal products with every meal. I always had this slightly uncomfortable feeling every time I'd let my mind think about how what I was eating was once a living animal, but I'd quickly push it away so I could enjoy my meal. However, once I finally did open my mind and learned about how harshly the animals in these industries are treated, it got to a point where I could no longer ignore it, and I knew I couldn't go on supporting such cruelty. I love animals (like most people do), and it hurt me to know that I was contributing to their pain and suffering just so I could enjoy a certain taste. It's a hard truth to face, because it means that you will have to make changes, and that can be scary. But trust me, it feels SO much better to know that I am no longer going against my morals every time I eat. If you have a feeling that something is wrong, do not ignore it! Just the fact that you are aware that you are trying to keep facts and feeling hidden, and feeling conflict when eating theses animals, shows that you know something's not right.
Think about how cats and dogs are raised as meat in China, how they are slaughtered and eaten, and how horrible most people consider that to be. Now try to figure out why we don't feel the same sadness and outrage over cows, pigs, and chickens being slaughtered here. There is no difference in their suffering. If there is way to eat that doesn't involve animal exploitation and slaughter, then why aren't we all vegan? Is a fleeting taste really worth more than the life of an animal who just wants to live and be free like we all do?

I don't believe that what is called "sentimental vegetarianism" should rule your decision. Your health should.
Being vegan can be very healthy but then so can fasting (if you are healthy enough to afford it nutritionally) . I tend in the vegan direction but there is no reason to be compulsive.

No, I would never be dumb enough to do that. I am not gullible, so PETA can never convince me it is truthful. Veganism is a quite deficient diet.

No. Vegetarian, definitely, but I like "stolen animal products" (you know, things like milk and eggs that don't kill the animal) too much, especially when cooking. Have you ever eaten "scrambled tofu? (It's pretty nasty, though oddly, "chicken-fried tofu" is pretty good.) I sometimes eat 'vegan-by-default' (such as when I have samosas), though. And all those products that are supposed to SIMULATE meat/whatever are violating the spirit of the idea. (The only thing that is made to taste like something it isn't are fake bacon bits, but not fake bacon rashers.)

No. I cannot go vegetarian either. Because I had a history of kidney disease, that's not a route I should take. Not only that, I love meat too much. And with only a few exceptions, I hate eating fruits and vegetables (most fruits and vegetables set off the gag mechanism everytime I try to eat them, causing me to throw up; I do like canned French style green beans and frozen corn). Going vegetarian or vegan is not going to happen with me. Vegans are just going to have to accept that or shut up. I'm a grown man. I don't have to justify myself to anyone.

Health-wise, no, I couldn't. I physically could not be a vegan without compromising my health. I have been to countless doctors and nutritionists and it's not in the cards for me. A lot of people have said I'm full of it, that anyone can be a vegan, but it's the truth. I tried even being a vegetarian for about 2 months and got really sick.
Some people's body chemistry is not made for this. I am one of them.
