    It appears the voters in the USA want opposition to changes in Washington DC regardless of who is President.

    Voters tend to put opposition candidates into elected positions.

    In the current off season election in Virginia we see a strange win that may be due to the fact that the Republican Candidate was not a good candidate and the Democrat pretended to be Moderately Conservative. - Time will tell.
