Today in class someone said that Poor people on welfare or cash aid Don't Deserve to eat healthy or organic food -?
Alot of the class agreed even though I disagreed with intelligent argument. WHY DO PRIVILEGED FEEL THAT POOR PEOPLE SHOULD EAT CHEAP CANCER CAUSING FOOD INSTEAD OF ORGANIC?

the implied claim that organic food is healthy has yet to be proven. frequently, it has more natural bacteria (sometimes harmful) than regular food.

What is healthy food?
While organic food costs more, it is not necessarily any better for you than so-called normal foods.
As for the poor and what they can eat -- sure they can't afford Wagyu eye fillets, but they can eat rump steak and blade steak, roasts, pork, chicken and many other protein sources. It's no more cancer-causing than the most expensive Wagyu cuts.
Forget about the hyperbole -- it's just propaganda to stop people from thinking.
