Why is the APA Hotels group in Japan being allowed to host Olympic Athletes?
The CEO of the hotel group is anti-Semitic, denies the Nanking Massacre ever took place, and says that the US bombed itself during WW2 as an excuse for war with Japan. Oh, and he places books with these ideas in every single room.

Unfortunately, if you eliminated the Japanese from Olympic involvement on the basis of anti-Semitism, denials of the Rape of Nanking, and moronic claims about the US and the war, you wouldn't be left with many people.
Many Japanese are, sadly, very racist and chauvinistic. That's not true of all of them, but it's true of enough as to require a general warning to NON-Japanese.
Relatively few countries these days want to host an Olympics, because of the cost and the vast number of other problems. Frankly, I think we should stick the Summer Games permanently in Greece and the Winter Games permanently in St Moritz, so that the IOC is no longer getting into bed with corrupt and/or racist regimes.
