If you had a teenage daughter who was pregnant, how would you feel?

Very disappointed, but I'd help her think through her choices and would attempt to be supportive of whatever choice she made. Honestly my biggest worry would be that she would choose to parent, but then once the baby arrived would constantly dump her baby on me while she went out and partied with friends or got involved with some other loser. If I ever have a daughter I'll be 37 or 38 by the time it happens, so I wouldn't relish the idea of basically parenting an infant again in my 50s.

Our oldest daughter became part of our family as a teenager after living a nightmare of a childhood filled with severe neglect, physical abuse, and daily sexual abuse. She was programmed from the time she was a young child to believe she was nothing and that her only purpose in life was to make men happy.

She gave birth to her now 14 year old daughter when she was 17 years old. It took a long time, years, for her to stop believing that her only value in life was what she could physically do for others.

She's an excellent mother and her daughter is a treasure - bright, funny, and loved.

I would be disappointed but focus on her and my grandchild. The main focus would be finding a way for her to stay in school.

Well, I know that it wouldn't be my fault as I would make sure she had a good sex education and access to contraceptives and plan B pill in case of emergency.
