YA is really messed up now, isn't it?

It used to be nice to pick out a category and then scroll through the questions. Now all you get is a list of a few stupid questions in any old category. Is there any way to see all the detailed categories they used to have?

They already killed yahoo answers in the UK, I only recently joined back on the so called UK site, to find out it doesn't exist any more, 99% of the questions I see are from Americans.

I have nothing at all against the US, but I find I can't help or be involved in most of the questions, due to different laws, different eating habits, different vehicles, shops etc etc etc

If you are not seeing the categories in the side list, 1) do a good cache clean, shutdown, and reboot. 2) on a mobile, use desktop mode. It is just a glitch that comes and then disappears for periods.

The staff of drooling morons that runs Y!A has been determined to make it unusable for years now. As it is, the site has about 5% of the traffic that it used to. I'm sure they'll manage to kill it soon.

You can still find the categories by clicking on any question. The categories for that question will come up; click on the broadest category listed, such as "Politics." From there, you can click on "all," and that will bring up the categories like you used to see. Why Yahoo! hid this, I'll never know. I guess they needed more room for their advertisements and thinly-disguised "trending" lists.
