I believe that Christ suffered and died for our sins so that we might have everlasting life on earth--a paradise earth.

No more sickness, no more divorce, all the animals will be harmless, and our dead loved ones will be resurrected and given a chance to also live on that paradise earth.

YES, I believe that and millions of people all over the world also believe that and the fact that so many showed up last night for the memorial of of Christ's death

because that is what the Bible teaches

and because I believe what the Bible teaches.

2) Did Jesus die completely as God says?

When did God say such a thing?

I am unaware of any such statement from God.

But...Christians believe that Jesus suffered the very same sort of death that all humans suffer: namely, the death of his mortal, human body.

ONLY the death of his mortal, human body, not any other sort of death, not any supernatural sort of death.

Yes, it is a wonderful provision that Jehovah set up for us, in fact, the moment sin took place in the Garden of Eden. He stated that his son Jesus Christ would come to earth, die a sacrificial death and this would open the way for life eternal in a Paradise Earth.

Naturally, there is a lot more to it. In fact, it is tonight that the Memorial of Christ's death is observed. Some areas of the world it has already be observed. I am going to mine in a little bit. :) Hope you enjoyed yours.

Some ask WHY did the first couple have to die? It was a test of obedience, and clearly they had everything, but it was Selfishness & Greed that came into the picture.

Yes, Jesus died. He did not exist. He had no consciousness at all.

The New Testament is quite explicit that it does not consider physical death, as we experience it, the cessation of all life. Your "definition" is incompatible with the entire context,.You might as well try to interpret Pythagoras using a "definition" claiming a right angle measure 60 degrees.

We believe he experienced physical death (and in a particularly nasty manner, too). We also believe that, as asserted throughout the New Testament, that event did not constitute a "cessation of all life."

Actually the first gospel written, The Gospel of Mark, originally ends before Jesus died, and never says he rose from the dead.

Of course Christ died for us.

Jesus Christ died for all who would exercise faith in him and do his Father's will so that they may gain everlasting life.
