Does anyone know a good company that you can buy something and they give something to the poor, like Tom's Shoes, for example?

Just a heads up. While it always seems great when a company says they are giving part of the proceeds to charity, be aware that whether you purchase one of the items or not, they have already budgeted to give to charity a set amount. Most do so for the tax write off. I do like the fact that many draw attention to certain causes and charities, and I suppose that is a great thing. Just don't be fooled thinking that if you don't buy, the charity will not get the money. They will.
