Hi we always hear from some old men how they reject bills like this however they are putting there collective necks on the block if it does not pass to have the queens signature.

Quite simply, she can't do that. The House of Lords can't go above the Commons in any case, they can only make recommendations to send back to the Commons for further debate. Which is how having the two Houses should work. There is an interesting seriouis being aired on BBC2 at the moment. Watching it might be of interest to some.

This is more than possible. There is a precedent for it. In 1909 Lloyd George wanted to pass the "peoples budget" giving pensions for the 1st time but the House of Lords refused to pass it,so Lloyd George threatened to advise the King to create enough Peers to pass the Parliament Act of 1911 which restricted the power of the Lords on money bills.
The Lords backed down and the bill was passed. So Mrs May will certainly do the same.

No - it would only take a few weeks for the PM to call a General Election...with a Manifesto promising to reduce the House of Lords to NO more than 350.. a Popular Vote which would pull the Red Carpet from under the feet of so many lounge lizards and failed has-beens.
Mandelson, Prescot, Heseltine...to name but a few.
