2007-2013 Silverado 5.3 AFM oil consumption?
Please do not respond if you dont know what this is all about... I have been going through every gm forum trying to find the answer to this... for the 2007-2013 GMT900 if the 5.3 engine has flex fuel (e85), does that automatically mean the engine has AFM? (engine with 4 cyl and V8 mode) I am trying to steer clear of the engines that have AFM they are known for oil consumption above normal perimeters. Can someone PLEASE answer this for me???

E85 doesn't have anything to do with AFM. Flex fuel engines can have AFM or not.
AFM had to be one of the stupidest ideas ever to hit Detroit.
