We split the bills; we have a dog together.. Why hasn't he proposed? He says he wants to marry me; He once said "I don't know why I haven't married you yet".. It makes me feel like i'm doing something wrong.. Couples that haven't been together as long as us are getting married.. and here I am like..... helppp

The big question is why you and he are withholding the ultimate commitment to one another--especially since it gives each of you certain legal rights that are important when you jointly own property. It gives you rights over health care decisions and other matters of great importance.
You can, of course, get legal documents assigning those rights to each other, but getting married is easier and can be a lot cheaper and more fun.
It sounds to me like he's not going to ask. It's one of those things where he thinks if it's working as it is, why change? The why is to give you those legal rights and to make the biggest commitment to you that he can because it's clearly important to you.
