Are revolvers more difficult to track after a crime because they don t leave cases?

Contrary to popular MYTH. It is 100% IMPOSSIBLE to 'track' ANY firearm based on the bullet or the casings. In any case, casings can be collected by the shooter.

Having the casings and/or bullet is useful in proving a gun was used to fire the shots, but TOTALLY USELESS in finding the gun.

Yes, in that it doesn't leave cases. That said it is actually very rare for cases to be used to actually find the shooter in the first place.

Absolutely not, as Captain Crunchy Cock, or whatever, said. The round is still going to be rifled and thus be able to be traced.

With a wheelgun, the brass is simply easier to "police" since you have to decide to eject it.

I wouldn't think so because you could still get a bullet and possibly rifling marks.
