Why do so many women adopt physically vulnerable styles, when they are at astronomical risk of assault?

Feminists tell me that women live in constant fear of victimization.  So why do so many women choose to wear shoes that eliminate their chance of escape, such as sandals, flip-flops, and high heels?  Why do they grow their hair so long that it can easily be grabbed by an attacker, instead of buzzing it like a marine?

They enjoy their sexuality and their biology. They are not paranoid, lumbering, insecure women.

You do understand that most rapists aren't going to chase a person down, right?

Most rapists are first of all people the victim knows. 
AKA: Teacher, boyfriend/husband/relative/preacher/etc. 
If it is a stranger, nine times out of ten they are going to wait until the victim can't fight back anyways. When they're drunk, or by drugging them. 
It's basically purely Hollywood at this point that a rapist chases a person down.

Those are good points. I think that heels are doable if she drives, not so doable if she's in a city taking public transportation.
Hair not so much. Many men have long hair and beards. Being shaven doesn't protect anyone from attack. If you are a smaller person you can be grabbed.

Feminists live in constant fear of victimization, not the average woman. Sandals are for summer time and long is how a lot of women like their hair. Someone could grab me by my shirt as well.
