Why is my name appearing as a question mark on yahoo answers and how can I fix it?

At those times when there is a server down or some other problem has slowed the Yahoo webpage and it can't reach your nickname to show it, it substitutes a question mark rather than make you wait. It will eventually be fixed, nothing you did and nothing you can do to fix it.

That happens to all of us off and on. Me too today. Just a glitch that will fix itself eventually.

There is no way to fix it. It is currently a glitch and it is really annoying. Just sit tight and they should have it fixed soon.

That is a longstanding glitch with the avatars. Ignore it.
