How effective is birth control?
I mean the pill, and can I go to planned parenthood by myself and get it w out my mom knowing? How much would it cost? Im a 16 year old girl.

Estimates vary but there is a roughly 1% chance per year of getting pregnant if you take the pill carefully without other protection or pulling out. Pulling out is not a nice way to make love so use condoms or spermicide in addition to the pill if you want to be extra safe.

You can always google the cost of the pill- Some are cheap online, so they wont work as well as other pills.
