Is it ok to only feed betta fish blood worms?
I've tried 3 different foods. 2/3 had fish meal as the 1st ingredient but one had good ingredients. He's very picky and only eats bloodworms but people say that you should only feed them that twice a week? I've tried pellets, flakes, and this cross between them but he won't eat them. Only look at them, or put them in his mouth and spit them out. (the bloodworms are freeze dried)

Freeze dried Bloodworms are not good for bettas. They have almost no nutritional value and soak up water in the fish's stomach, causing constipation and other health problems.
Have you tried Nat Geo pellets or Omega One pellets? Both use whole salmon as their main ingredient. They're high quality, and my bettas love then.
If he still won't eat those pellets, try putting him on a frozen diet. Frozen foods are often more appealing to bettas because it's closest to what they eat in the wild. No fillers, grains, and whatnot. I would suggest a varied frozen diet - one with lots of protein and fiber. Try getting SF Bay's Freshwater Frenzy food. It has whole frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, daphnia, cyclops, and is enhanced with veggies like watercress and spirulina. Even my pickiest bettas love this stuff.

Each type of fish is different with different dietary needs. Its ok to feed them blood worms as a snack but for a meal they should eat the recommended Betta pellets. With Betta fish, avoid any veggie type fish foods. Siamese fighting fish (Betta) when heathly with well maintained habitat needs are a rewarding pet with a full range of personality. Good luck with your Siamese Fighter. 😷

Freeze dried foods are NOT good at all. It's like only eating potato chips.
To get the fish to start eating right just don't feed him anything but pellets. He'll learn.
