The Answer = No ... Neither you nor God, have to choose a religion.

God has no religion, God needs no religion. and God has no want of being a religion.

God is the Light, the Way, Existence itself, and that which exists in-and-as

the `exquisite perfection` of all things, places, and events ... random, planned, allowed, and Divine.

The birth, life, and death of jesus has *so far* only existed in print, and there is no evidence

that can physically or otherwise substantiate what has been written, or any of the resulting conjecture.

Always know: A belief in `God` will never require religion.

God and Messiah Yeshua are not into religion, but a relationship. Accepting Yeshua as Messiah and repenting of sin brings us into relationship with the Father and His Son. Anything else is just religion. Pure and simple!!

Jesus taught his followers only one religion, the true religion. It is like a road leading to everlasting life. Jesus said: “Few are finding” that road. (Matthew 7:14) God accepts only worship based on his Word of truth. All true worshippers are united in one faith.—Read John 4:23, 24; 14:6; Ephesians 4:4, 5.

2. What did Jesus say about false Christians?

A religious leader speaking in church. Later he is blessing soldiers at war.

“They publicly declare that they know God, but they disown him by their works.”—TITUS 1:16.

Jesus warned that false prophets would corrupt Christianity. Outwardly, they seem like true worshippers. Their churches claim to be Christian. But you can recognize such people for what they really are. How? Only true worship produces genuine Christians with recognizable qualities and ways.—Read Matthew 7:13-23.

3. How can you recognize true worshippers?

Consider these five identifying marks:

True worshippers respect the Bible as God’s Word. They strive to live by its principles. So true religion differs from religion that is based on men’s ideas. (Matthew 15:7-9) True worshippers do not preach one thing and practice another.—Read John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17.

A Christian gives a Bible discourse. He later preaches about God’s Kingdom, assists with disaster relief, helps the elderly.

Jesus’ true followers honor God’s name, Jehovah. Jesus honored God’s name by making it known. He helped people to know God and taught them to pray that God’s name be sanctified. (Matthew 6:9) Where you live, which religion makes God’s name known?—Read John 17:26; Romans 10:13, 14.

Jehovah and Jesus are mankinds means of everlasting life. John 3:16,17; John17:3; Ps.37:9-11,29.

Mankind needs laws and order.not Jehovah who created men. 2 tim.3:16,17; 1 timothy 1:8-11.

The Triune God is the SOURCE of religion. So, then, HOW can He "choose one of the religions out of thousands?" That doesn't make sense... they ARE the ONE True and only religion!

Through him we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in our hope of sharing the glory of God. (Romans 5:2)
