How long will a UPS package be delayed by a train derailment?

I am waiting on a package as well. I believe this is the train derailment in Texas where two trains crashed and caused a fire. So I believe if your package was on the freight it will be a long delay.

If you're sending a package, it doesn't go by rail, so it won't be delayed at all.

UPS freight goes by rail, but we're talking large shipments here, not courier packages.

Depends was the UPS truck part of the derailment. Takes time to find all the parcels and dig them out of the crushed truck.

Road blocked maybe the truck actually goes on some other road to get from A to B. It could be a detour of a few hundred yards or hundreds of miles.

If your package was crushed in the Derailment is doubtful you get it.
