why doesn't appealing a deleted question work?

I'm having that same problem too. It's extremely frustrating. It must be an annoying glitch which I really do hope Yahoo staff fix all because if they don't, lets just say that it will become a reporting trolls dream come true. However this glitch doesn't seem to happen for answers, so as long as you can still appeal for answers, especially best answers then that's the important thing.
So yeah, you currently can't appeal for questions. I'm afraid you will have to forget about the 10 points you lost. Just answer at least 5 questions and you will get that 10 points back.

It's not working because there pretty much aren't any human moderators who work for Yahoo any more. Just robots who do things 'automated'. I've appealed many, many innocent answers that have been deleted and I have NEVER received any successful appeals nor any emails stating that it got declined.

The appeal linkds have glitches that are yers old. This is NOT a new glitch. That there is no one to read appeals even if you submit an and get ana incident number is ALKOS NOT a n new glitch, because rorting and appealing has ALWAYS been an somewhat automated system, but swince so many Yahoo emlyees have been laid off over the last 5 years, even when you appeal, very likely your appeal is read by a server computers, NOT Yahoo employees. Yahoo emloyees just send out atumate email and put their names on thse emails.. Or a computer sends out THOSE emails too.
IF you want to appeal use one of these appeal pages., Which one you use depends on which country's Yahoo email you got. the glitch in the appeal hyperlink has existed FOR YEARS , at LEAST THREE years, maybe 5 years, or longer. It is NOT A NEW glitch.

Signing out and logging back in will NOT fix the Glitch, because the glitch is in THE HYPERLINK in the email. It sends you to an appeal page that no longer exists so it sends you that automatic default error message. You CAN still appeal if and when you figure out WHICH appeal page to you use.
