2005 Dodge Neon... vehicle drives, then jerks and resets itself, what's up?
Engine light is on, vehicle won't start for a moment, like battery dead, but no battery light, then car starts, engine light resets... no battery light... now, just drove vehicle, car jerked a little, engine light off as it reset itself, clock need reset, it like battery was disconnected but terminal tights, new battery and cables... ???

I would inspect the battery connections not just for tightness, but how does everything look. The cable could be on there tight, but if there is corrosion/grime/etc that could create a bad connection which might cause your problem. Take the battery cables off the battery (take negative off first, put negative back on last) and check for corrosion and such; clean with a steel brush or something similar. Also, follow the cable from the negative side of the battery to where it connects to the chassis of the car, make sure the connection is tight, also make sure there is no corrosion there. Could also be a bad battery; might want to take it to Autozone and have them test it.

could be a broken battery post , a dead cell or the earth/ground connection is loose
