If God is anti-gay and we're not natural, why are there so many of us?

Homosexuality may be evolution's way of thinning the herd....

That lowers the birth rate and, as the older rats die, the surviving rats can find enough food.

Humans have over populated the planet and are reaching a number that is destroying the environment and the ecological system and, in response to the stimulus of the same, a natural transition may be taking place to lower our number.

Notice as well that we are experiencing new viruses at an alarming rate which can be another evolutionary trick to lower the number of any particular group that is stressing the system.

The natural system works towards balance and will achieve the same one way or another.

Because god God is not real there is no proof that he exists. I could say the same for the tooth fairy. But people believe in him and religion seems to be the cause of many wars and deaths over the centuries. As for gay people, this is a personal preference it is not a proven genetic trait or a disease - so there are many because that is what people what in their lives and that media these day has made being gay less of a stigma - Alan Turing and Quentin Crisp were both gay and classed as criminals in the 1950's & 1960's but now they are not as social norms of the day have moved have forwards. Is gayness "biologically and evolutionary normal" for human beings, the answer must be no. Humans are programmed to reproduce for species survival so gives us the answer that it is something that people chose based on psychological preferences and these are based on upbringing and environmental social norms and personal preference of individuals. In the end it is a case of what an individual likes and wants. I don't like alcohol but I could easily become an alcoholic just by drinking loads of it over a long period of time, I am not gay but I could become gay by only selecting same sex partners - the level of compulsion in myself to do this is something that I would need to work very hard on on and might never achieve based on my age and current ingrained practices. It is not abnormal for women or men to have an attraction to same sex people even Bonobo ape and other great apes do this - it depends on the people (or apes) involved. Anyway it does not need curing and the term "natural" relates differently to different people and apes - apes do it to strengthen group dynamics people are driven more my sex for pleasure - other lower animal orders are driven by sex for procreation only.
