Bus trip from Mexico to Indiana?
A girl from Indiana was travelling in Mexico with a friend, but decided to split from her friend and return home, so she took a bus. The trip took three days. (I saw it on a TV crime programme.) How would such a trip work? Would they stop overnight along the way and sleep somewhere? A hotel, motel or something? Surely they wouldn’t drive non-stop? What would a likely route have been?

Yes, long distance buses travel 24 hrs. a day. They stop for fuel and meals and then somewhere they will switch drivers for the night shift. You sleep on the bus.

Sorta yeah, sorta no. Just cooped up in a bus for hours on end. It IS better than flying to Singapore - 18 hours on a plane and you can't get off for the whole time.

They change drivers along the way. As a passenger you may have to switch buses for a route this long.
