HTC One E8 keeps saying "Mobile data disconnected because radio was turned off."?

The airplane mode is not on, and I'm not even playing the radio. I've tried rebooting, factory reset, pretty much everything I can think of. Sometimes it'll also say no mobile data because there's no service when someone on the same plan is right next to me and they have service. Is this fixable or do I need to get a new phone?

So the "radio" being off is speaking about your mobile service transmitter being off, not the radio.
