Anybody know this brand of backpack?
Some 15 years ago my dad bought me a backpack (which was absolutely top of the line back then, since he got it at some trade fair or other). The name "WOODSTOCK (R)" is stitched across it, which I guess is the brand name, and the model was "Access Yukon", since this is the only other kind of print on the backpack.
Does anybody know what became of "WOODSTOCK"? Since it was a registered trademark, I suspect it must be around somewhere but Google was absolutely unable to turn up any results.
My point it, I love that backpack and it has served me well for neigh unto two decades. Now I'd like another of the same brand, maybe even the same model if they still have it. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

They probably had to reorganize under another name because the name "Woodstock Ventures" under which they were applying for copyrights is already owned by the group that incorporated to produce the Woodstock music festivals. They are known for tightly controlling attempts to capitalize on their name. I worked in the wilderness equipment business for many years and companies that made high end backpacks came and went frequently. They usually could not generate the volume necessary nor charge enough for the packs to maintain quality production. Too many companies like JanSport that mass market crappy packs for them to compete with. Since there are no updates since 2012 on that pack company it probably went the way of the dodo or chose another trade name.
Companies like Kelty, Marmot, Mountain Hardwear, Bergans and Gregory all make excellent internal frame backpacks if you want to look at them. I have a Gregory and have been very happy with it -- it is the 7th full capacity pack I have owned and used in over 40 years of backpacking.

REI. Go to an REI. Ask for advice on what type of backpack you should be using for the kind of camping in which you partake. You will probably discover that your existing backpack is outdated, heavy, and not appropriate for you. Osprey Aether 60-liter, $260. The North Face Banchee 65-liter, $250.
