how can i view questions in ascending order of number of answers so far submitted?

You cannot do that. The closest thing to that is on the questions list you will see Be the first to answer or Add your answer. On the ones that say add your answer you would have to open those but not the ones that say Be the first to answer. Questions nearer the top of the list will have the fewest answers as they are the newest.

You can't, as they no longer do something like that. I know it once was a possibility, but with all the changes, it's too much of a bother for them.
