Has any other gamer been scammed by the RED BULL- DESTINY special code promotion. Bought many cans at 7-11 and the codes were already used!?

Update:

This was 48 hours after the promo was announced! Now I am reading on many websites, including FORBES! That the code was so simple that it was broken before the game promotion started, and on another website - Neo GAF.. a user 'NOWISE10' has actually posted the instructions for breaking the promotion code.

So, millions entered these codes without the product, Red Bull HAD TO KNOW about it...the instructions WERE POSTED ON LINE so in collusion with 7-11 millions people like me were tricked.

I think that Red Bull, 7-11 and Destiny have some explaining to do. Someone made the algorithm that they used to generate the code public knowledge by posting it on an internet forum.

And that 'SOMEONE' has to be an employee or paid contractor of Red Bull, 7-11, and/or Destiny.

At the very least, someone in marketing should have noticed and pulled the plug.

But they didn't because hauling in tons of cash from unsuspecting gamers is what they had plotted for from stage one. And what better way to do it than to cash in all of the codes - internally- before the buyers can get them, and then 'Flag' the buyers accounts as scammers. So now the buyers cannot even go to the Red Bull website and complain.

Honestly - every promotional code - especially the ones that were used - should be invalidated and any 'prize' or advantageous game tool that was received by people using that promotion should be invalidated - even if it means they 'lose' the game.

So, RED BULL, 7-11 and Destiny-Bungie tricked me and millions of others to going to a store and spending $3.00 on products that were completely worthless, unless you drink Red Bull, which I and many gamers do not. In addition, when I entered the codes, I got a nasty e-mail from Red Bull flagging ME as a SPAMMER. How do people get their money back?

Its not a "scam", its really badly thought out. Once you see the can, you can easily guess the code. So all you have to do is get the code from the can, and you don;t have to buy it at all.

So any cans people HAVE bought will have been looked at already by other people.

I bought one can, and the code worked. So I didn't have that problem, but a lot of people have. Try guessing some codes...it seems to work.

Buy the cans in the back.
