Any of y'all have this experience with a yankee liberal?

I was sitting outside a little mall in central Texas I saw a little guy with a clipboard he was eyeing me I returned the look and could tell he was a yankee he had what I call ''that Lou Ayers look'' small angry and smug. yankee liberal for sure
He walked up to an older man all I heard was ''look you talked to me at the gulf course am not interested''
It  rude but I had to ask ''ha cowboy what was all that about''? Seem he tells people of all the government benefits their entitled too ''he trying to turn America into Greece he an three others just pulled into town staying at the local hotel'' 
Have any of you heard of this?
