What up with this Mexican uproar over what Mr Trump said, and don't you think the Mexicans are being overly sensitive?

I mean in 2007 Miss Universe contest was held in Mexico City doing the parade Miss USA was booed many times in Mexico City. When Miss USA walked on stage she almost tripped the Mexicans in the audience thought it was oh so funny when she spoke many booed her
Don't get me wrong I understand how they feel hell I wanted to take hold of the 1st little poco in sight and split his face open but did not, on this their being too sensitive agreed?

I think the differnece is that the example you gave was a contest. It is where fans are welcome to give their opinion and say what they want (even if it is harsh like booing). The fans there were trying to be show that they wanted Miss Mexico or whoever to win becuase it is just their pride toward their heritage.  What Trump said was just stupid.  Like I kinda see what Trump meant. If you look at a poll of who make up criminal activity, Hispanic race people do make up a significant amount but what Trump said was not right. What he said sounded like all Mexicans that live in US are criminals. Especially when you are running for president, you need to be very careful in what you say.

Yes, Miss USA 2007, Rachel Smith was booed in Mexico City during the Miss Universe pageant.

If I am not wrong, back in 1993 when the Miss Universe pageant was also held in Mexico, Kenya Moore, Miss USA 1993 was also booed.
