Why do cons keep insisting that Fascism wants state ownership of private property?
Fascists privatized more industries than they nationalized. LOL
Fascists used corporatism to help their economies, autonomous corporations in the hands of private individuals were the main parts of a fascist economy.
Yes, fascists DID respect private property and even embraced individualism. They only deemed private property a bad thing if it hurt the interests of the nation, which was rare.
"Under the Reich, corporations were largely left to govern themselves, with the incentive that if they kept prices under control, they would be rewarded with government contracts."
To quote again,

Wrong, in socialism, the government OWNS the business or the business is collectivized and run by a worker cooperative.
In Fascism, the business can do what it wants as long as it isn't harmful to the nation.

Because that would make the nazis socialist, and cons say the nazis are socialist, so the nazis must have believed in state ownership. Basically circular reasoning. The nazis even banned labour unions and replaced them with a government labour union designed to maximize efficiency while minimizing wages. Hitler was no enemy to profit or private property as long as you worked in the interest of the state. The nazis were not individualist though, no idea where you got that idea.

Fascism is a form of reactionary authoritarian nationalism. It originated in Italy during World War I, in opposition to liberalism, Marxism, anarchism and traditional conservatism.

That is WHY after Mussolini and Hitler, the definition of socialism changed from: Government ownership of the means of production...To: Government ownership or control of the means of production. Many US and British Adolph 'fanboys' like papa Joe Kennedy and Chamberlain...Did not 'adopt' the new definition.

the end result is the same; Dictatorship.
Or do you really want to argue that Stalin was any different than Hitler.

The Nazis had plenty of support from America. Lindberg loved them, even travelling to Getmany to hang with Adolph. There were so many German Americans that they formed their own American Nazi fan clubs, complete with brownshirts!
In fact, America only got into the fight against the Nazis after they declared war on you!

The same goes for nazis; Who they lent to major companies such as BMW and VolksWagen, the prisioners of these concentration camps, to work in slave-like conditions: and these were the "lucky" ones who escaped the gas chambers...
