About how likely is it that there's a cave deeper than Krubera Cave?
Krubera Cave is the deepest *known* cave in the world. I was wondering how much that actually says about its ranking among the world's deepest caves. Is it probably the deepest? Among the top handful? Or are there likely lots that are deeper?

If 1/2 meter average height is a cave, there are likely thousands, undiscovered that are deeper, but filled with very high pressure liquid or gas.

It is possible there is a cave deeper than Krubera, but it is a matter of time and discovery before one is discovered. The technology to detect and traverse caves will surely improve, but with the improvement it is possible new veins of Krubera will also be discovered that go even deeper.
