Will my money be confiscated?
My family and I are planning a trip to Honduras to see our relatives. We live in the U.S. I would like to bring about 2000 dollars in cash to help my relatives out, since they live in poverty. I don't trust the airline enough to put the cash in my baggage, so if I kept it in my carry on bag, would it raise suspicion or would the TSA confiscate it? 90% of the world's cocaine passes through Honduras, and it is know for its drug cartels and violence. So can I safely bring my money with me and not have it taken or be arrested? Thank you

TSA are not the MONEY Police.
No need to Flash it around at the Airport.
Customs in Honduras does care. If they ask HOW MUCH you have you TELL them.
You can have money. They may want to know HOW MUCH you have.
In the Drug Business $2000 is not a lot of money.
