Can someone read Hebrew handwriting?

Best guess: Drop

I can read it, but it doesn't make sense to me. I'm not fluent in Hebrew, just conversational; however, it doesn't even look like a normal Hebrew word to me. Going off the transliteration, I'd say drop because that's how you'd write the English word in Hebrew script. Obviously, that's not the Hebrew word for "drop", and with the way Hebrew's script works it could also be "droop", "darup", "derep", or other things where the vowels change out. Hebrew is an abjad, which works by forming related words using consonantal plates. Where you and I might see RD, they'll see "road", "red", "read", "Reid", "reed", "rude", "ride", or "rude", among others, which is why I can't say for sure how it's pronounced.

What I can say is that it's D-R-V-P. The V letter most likely is standing in for the vowels /o/ and /u/, and while the last letter can be /p/ or /f/, Hebrew has a system where certain letters change at the end of the word, but this generally applies to the letter at the end when it's /f/. Hebrew avoids ending words in /p/, except when they're foreign in origin, hence P and as such, "drop".
