Can we all agree the opponents of Obamacare were wrong?

Update:

The government is spending less on Obamacare than expected.

The uninsured rate is dropping.

Obamacare is not a job killer. In fact, the new law is spurring "entrepreneurial activity".

In the U.S. there is never 100% consensus on anything.

No, we cannot agree on that.

    1. Using Obama's own numbers, he claimed that there were 40 million uninsured Americans. The last figures I saw indicated that 8 million people had gotten insurance through Obamacare. That means that after all of the expenses that have occurred, it has only insured 20% of the uninsured.

    2. Based on this article (granted its from a conservative source, so there is a bias. However it should be pretty easy to verify the numbers) , we have spent about $14,000 per insured person through Obamacare. It probably would have been cheaper to just give them a policy.

    3. As my oldest is preparing for college, I really enjoyed the 14% increase in my premium. Thank you, Mr. President.

If a TV show had 7.8 million viewers many of whom hated he show but were forced to watch due to financial threat, then that show wouldn't make it past the first season let alone 5 years. Obamacouldcareless has no fulfilled any of its promised results such as insuring the uninsured, lowering health care costs, or making care better and more affordable. The problem is that 323 million not even signed up are not affected by anything bad so they could care less if it were repealed or not; all they saw was a 10% reduction in their tax returns.

    In general on many thing,

    yes

    we

    CAN agree.

But I guarantee you that we will not agree.

The battle over healthcare, as long as healthcare is a major part of the US Economy,

    will not end.

    And

Because healthcare is such a large a part of the US economy and so many live off of it, any healthcare reform that attempts to make healthcare more affordable, cuts into the wallets of the people in healthcare, and therefore,

    can never be that simple.

It has failed and has caused 4 million to lose coverage. CBO estimates. Now it has not got enough in the system and is collapsing. Did you get to hear the niffy things the architect of Obama Care said. Stupid Americans did not know how to do math. It is a sham
