Is fear a two way thing?
Fear is used for many things not always for the good. It is used to control and keep people in line. Terror is fear. But fear in another way, does also protect us from ourselves. My wife turns our gas container of every night for fear it will explode . The fear of danger makes us hide so we won't be found. The fear of being electrocuted makes us wear rubber gloves and shoes. So in many ways fear has its good points too. Fear helps us to protect ourselves.

yes fear causes us to take safety PRECAUTIONS , seat belts , medical and car insurance promoters know this life insurance ,, a bee keepers suit , vaccines for disease . fear of pain encourages us to brush our teeth slip free surfaces . yes . fear is too sided . then we have unfounded fears or exaggerated other extreme the OCD who has to wash his hands 100 times a day , with a germ phobia ..most things in life as well as emotions have pro's and cons . from one end of the spectrum to another , we can love too much and be too giving or deprive love and be abusive or reclusive
