Who got flowers for Valentine's day?

I got long stemmed roses too and they look lovely still.

Sometimes the flowers just don't last but there are a few things you can do. Before you put them in the vase, cut off about half and inch to an inch preferably under running water and keep cutting them every couple of days. It's better too to not keep them anywhere too hot. The florists keep them in a fridge.

I didn't get my wife flowers, but we have an agreement about Valentine's day.. a card - perhaps a small gift - and that's it. It's not romantic, romantic is when someone does something for you on the spur of the moment because that's an expression of how they feel about you. Romantic never stems from a sense of duty

What's the use? Flowers die after a few days anyway, but candy and greeting cards are nice.

No one got me flowers.

I didn't. Does this mean she doesn't love me?

I cannot stand anything to do with valentines day! If you love someone, tell them everyday, not once a year!
